We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Website, our services, community features, legal requirements, or editorial policies.
Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. By continuing to use DigiByte.live after updated Terms are published, you agree to the revised Terms.

- the information you provide is accurate and not misleading;
- you are legally capable of entering into these Terms;
- you will keep your account details secure; and
- you will not impersonate another person or organisation.
We may refuse registration, contributor applications, or account access at our discretion.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use DigiByte.live to:
- break any applicable law or regulation;
- upload, submit, post, or distribute unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory material;
- infringe any copyright, trade mark, privacy, publicity, database, or other intellectual property rights;
- upload malware, malicious code, harmful scripts, or any technology intended to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
- spam, scrape, harvest data, overload the Website, or interfere with the normal operation of the Website;
- attempt unauthorised access to accounts, admin areas, servers, or related systems;
- use DigiByte.live in a way that could damage our reputation, systems, community, or legal position; or
- submit low-quality, deceptive, plagiarised, mass-produced, or purely promotional content.
4. User Accounts
Some parts of DigiByte.live may require account registration. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that takes place under your account.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend, restrict, or close accounts that breach these Terms, pose a security risk, create legal risk, or undermine the quality or integrity of the Website.
5. Community Authors and Contributor Submissions
DigiByte.live may, now or in the future, allow selected community members to apply to become contributors, authors, or guest writers. Approval as a contributor is entirely at our discretion.
5.1 Approval and Publication Are Not Guaranteed
Applying to contribute does not create any right to an account, contributor status, publication, continued publication, payment, or ongoing access to the Website.
We may accept, reject, review, edit, schedule, postpone, unpublish, or remove any submission at our sole editorial discretion.
5.2 Ownership of Contributor Content
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, contributors remain the owner of the original copyright in the text, images, graphics, and other original materials they create and submit to DigiByte.live.
5.3 Licence Granted to DigiByte.live
By submitting content to DigiByte.live, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, copy, publish, display, communicate, distribute, promote, excerpt, translate, adapt for formatting, and otherwise use that content in connection with:
- the Website;
- our categories, archives, feeds, search results, tags, and internal linking structure;
- our social media channels;
- our email newsletters;
- our backups, caching, records, and archives; and
- reasonable promotional use of the content and the Website.
This licence lasts for as long as the content remains published on DigiByte.live and afterwards to the extent reasonably necessary for archives, backups, records, prior promotions, legal compliance, and the continued operation of the Website.
5.4 Editorial Rights
You acknowledge and agree that DigiByte.live may, without seeking further approval from you:
- edit grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, layout, and structure;
- change or refine titles, headings, summaries, excerpts, and calls to action;
- add, remove, or revise internal links, categories, tags, metadata, featured images, captions, and SEO fields;
- make reasonable edits for clarity, style, legal compliance, fact-checking, consistency, or editorial standards;
- decline publication or remove published content; and
- note that content has been updated, edited, or removed where appropriate.
Contributors consent to such reasonable editorial treatment of their submissions.
5.5 Contributor Warranties
By submitting content, you confirm and warrant that:
- you created the content yourself or have all rights, permissions, licences, and consents needed to submit it;
- the content is original, lawful, and not plagiarised;
- the content does not infringe the rights of any third party, including copyright, trade mark, confidentiality, privacy, publicity, or database rights;
- the content is not defamatory, misleading, deceptive, malicious, or unlawful;
- any factual claims are made honestly and to the best of your knowledge;
- any opinions expressed are genuinely held opinions;
- you have disclosed any material connection, sponsorship, payment, affiliate relationship, token holding, or conflict of interest relevant to the content; and
- the submission does not contain hidden advertising, undisclosed paid promotion, or scam-related material.
5.6 AI-Assisted Content
If you use AI tools or automated tools to help create content, you remain fully responsible for the final submission.
AI assistance does not reduce your responsibility for originality, legality, accuracy, disclosure, or quality. DigiByte.live may reject, edit, request revision of, or remove content that is low-value, misleading, spam-like, unverified, overly generic, or not in line with our editorial standards. We may also require contributors to disclose AI-assisted creation where we consider it appropriate.
5.7 Images, Media, and Third-Party Materials
If you submit images, graphics, screenshots, charts, logos, or other media, you must have the right to use and submit them. You are responsible for ensuring that media does not infringe third-party rights and that any required attribution, licensing, or permission has been properly handled.
5.8 No Automatic Payment
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, contributor submissions are voluntary and unpaid. Submission of content does not create an employment relationship, partnership, agency, joint venture, or entitlement to compensation.
5.9 Removal, Suspension, and Termination of Contributor Access
We may suspend or terminate contributor status, remove access, or unpublish content at any time, including where:
- these Terms are breached;
- our editorial standards are not met;
- content creates legal, reputational, security, or compliance risk;
- required disclosures are missing;
- content quality falls below our standards; or
- we decide to change, pause, or end the contributor programme.
6. Intellectual Property on DigiByte.live
Unless otherwise stated, the Website design, branding, logos, layout, selection and arrangement of content, and original content published by DigiByte.live are owned by or licensed to DigiByte.live and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, republish, sell, scrape, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission, except where limited quotation, fair dealing, or other lawful use applies.
You may share links to public pages on DigiByte.live, provided you do so fairly, lawfully, and without suggesting endorsement where none exists.

Contributor posts, comments, and other user-submitted material may reflect the views of the author and not those of DigiByte.live.
We are not required to endorse, verify, or adopt user-generated views, even where we choose to publish them.
9. Third-Party Links, Tools, Products, and Services
DigiByte.live may link to or mention third-party websites, wallets, exchanges, miners, software providers, pools, merchants, advertisers, products, or services.
Those third parties are independent from DigiByte.live. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms, policies, products, services, actions, or omissions.
Any use of third-party websites or services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.
10. Affiliate Links, Promotions, and Sponsored Material
Some content on DigiByte.live may contain affiliate links, referral links, partner references, or sponsored mentions. Where appropriate, we may disclose such relationships.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, moderate, edit, refuse, restrict, or remove any content, account, or submission at any time for editorial, legal, technical, security, reputational, or operational reasons.
We may also preserve or disclose information where we reasonably believe this is necessary to comply with law, enforce these Terms, protect rights or property, investigate misuse, or respond to legal claims.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DigiByte.live and its owners, operators, contributors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, business interruption, wasted time, trading losses, investment losses, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from or connected with:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DigiByte.live and its owners, operators, affiliates, contributors, and service providers from and against any claims, complaints, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising out of or related to:
